We didn't leave because we wanted to.
Albania is emptying — one in seven people gone in twelve years, by the state's own census. The ones who stayed watch a pensioner get by on 210 euros a month while public pharmacy shelves sit empty, and the government finds four million euros for a Kanye West concert. They watch the coastline they grew up on get fenced off with razor wire and handed to foreign resorts by special law — after the European Parliament told them to stop. And when the squares filled with the largest protests in the country's history, the answer was tear gas, and being called Nazis by the people meant to represent them.
We're the third of Albania that got out. We still carry it, we still fund it, and most of us can still vote in it. Anger fades; a movement with an address doesn't. One demand, a real plan, and the discipline to win it — that's how the diaspora stops watching and starts deciding.

Is this a political party?
No. Albania United is a campaign. We advocate for fair elections and a real vote for the diaspora — we don't run candidates or back any party.
Is this foreign meddling?
No. We're Albanian citizens taking part in our own country's democracy — which the law now allows. Every major democracy lets its citizens abroad have a voice.
Do I have to be an Albanian citizen to join?
Anyone who cares about Albania can join the movement. Only citizens of the Republic of Albania can vote in its elections, so we ask about citizenship to know who's vote-ready — and help everyone else understand the process.
